Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and profile photo (if provided via Google Sign-In).

Conversation Data: Messages you send and AI responses during coaching sessions, including any files you upload.

Usage Data: App usage patterns, session duration, and feature interactions to improve our service.

Device Information: Device type, operating system version, and app version for compatibility and troubleshooting.

Content Reports: When you report AI-generated content, we collect the reported message, your reason, and any additional details you provide.

  • Processing your uploaded files for coaching context
  • Managing your account and subscription
  • Reviewing content reports and improving safety
  • Analyzing usage patterns to improve the App

3. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

Firebase (Google): Authentication, database storage, and analytics.

Google Gemini AI: AI model for generating coaching responses. Your messages are sent to Google's API for processing.

RevenueCat: Subscription and payment management.

Apple App Store: App distribution and payment processing.

Each service has its own privacy policy governing how they handle data.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on Firebase (Google Cloud) servers. We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit and at rest. However, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account and conversation data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us at checkin@kigarutalks.com. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

  • Access your personal data
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Export your data in a portable format
  • Opt out of certain data processing

7. Children's Privacy

This App is not intended for users under the age of 17. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 17. If we become aware that we have collected data from a user under 17, we will take steps to delete that information promptly.
