These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Coach OS ("the App," "we," "us," or "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 17 years of age to use this App. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you are at least 17 years old. If you are under 17, you may not download, install, or use the App.

2. Description of Service

Coach OS provides AI-powered coaching conversations. All coaching responses are generated by artificial intelligence (Google Gemini). There is no human-to-human or user-to-user chat functionality in this App.

The App is not a substitute for professional medical, psychological, financial, or legal advice. If you are experiencing a crisis or emergency, please contact your local emergency services immediately.

3. AI-Generated Content

All coaching responses are generated by AI and may not always be accurate, complete, or appropriate. We make no warranties regarding the quality, accuracy, or reliability of AI-generated content.

AI responses are filtered through built-in safety mechanisms to minimize harmful or inappropriate content. However, no filtering system is perfect. If you encounter content that is harmful, inaccurate, or inappropriate, please report it using the report button available on each AI response.

4. Content Reporting

We provide a reporting mechanism on AI-generated responses. You may flag any content you find harmful, inaccurate, inappropriate, or otherwise objectionable. Reports are reviewed by our team and used to improve the quality and safety of the service.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the App for any illegal purpose or in violation of any applicable law
  • Attempt to manipulate or abuse AI responses to generate harmful content
  • Use the App to harass, abuse, or harm others
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the App
  • Upload malicious files or content
  • Impersonate any person or entity

6. User Content

You may upload files and provide text input during coaching sessions. You retain ownership of content you provide. By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to process it for the purpose of providing coaching responses.

7. Subscriptions and Payments

Some features of the App may require a paid subscription. Subscriptions are managed through Apple App Store and processed by RevenueCat. Payment terms, renewal, and cancellation are governed by Apple's terms of service.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXimum EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE APP AND ITS SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
